eMail Scammers: Obvious Un-Educated Criminals

By

There's Better Odds at a Casino

Very Poor English Grammar

eMail Scammers are Obvious Uneducated Criminals

Most or many of their eMails show "Undisclosed Recipients"..... that's your first Giant clue it's BOGUS!

Even it they have your email, their spelling, grammar &/or typos wouldn't be there if it was done by a legit English-speaking well-educated person. Even 'perfect' eMails can be bogus too. Never assume any eMail you receive from anyone you don't know is for your benefit; More than likely, it's solely for theirs, attempting to trick you. Sometimes you may even get an eMail that LOOKS like it came from a friend, usually with [no subject] in the subject line. If it looks suspicious (& it should), call the person, or eMail them separately (NOT reply) & ask if they sent you anything. The account may have been hi-jacked and therefore the eMail is Bogus, especially if the friend's account is old and possibily un-used for some time. (No longer a main eMail account &/or abandoned..... Use your common sense.)

If you bother to read the text, you will, no doubt, notice blatant misspellings and terrible grammar. These people usually claim to be in possession (or have control) of large sums of money and they want your 'help' in some way, offering a good chunk to you for that help. These uneducated criminals aren't smart enough to make sure their eMails are worded correctly, which means that even if they actually have ANY money at all, they could either be in a position to have/hire a secretary to type it properly, or afford a Spelling & Grammar Check program for their computer. The point is, if someone is smart enough to be in such a position having or controlling the claimed huge funds, they'd know better... Duhhh!

What is so funny to me, now that the average computer-user is quite aware of these jerks, is the fact that it is one broke and uneducated idiot pulling a scam on another broke and uneducated idiot.... and both are greedy, money-hungry morons. As much as I detest the lying scammers for sending out eMails that announce "I'm a Stupid Goof", I feel sorry for & pity the nincompoops that actually fall for any of the eMail BS. These "victims" need to take a course in '3 Card Monty' to understand just how gullible they are. At the very least, read a bio of P.T. Barnum.... there's a fool born every minute and if it's not anyone you know, then it's probably YOU. If you can't believe that, then go Kiss a fool.... assuming that there's a pucker born every minute..... LOL !

Other eMail scams include 'soldiers' serving in or recently returned from the mid-east, the head of the FBI, men or (usually) women with no relatives dying of some disease, employees of some bank in Nigeria, the UK or elsewhere who 'found' unclaimed funds and any other (secret) attempt to get you to send them money; & they ask: "Can I Trust You?" Yeah, right! AS IF the scammer is trustworthy! HaHaHa!

NEVER open an attachment from someone you don't really know nor can trust!

Basically, any other type of 'phishing' email, "You've Won A Prize", "You've Won Our (Internet) Lotto" etc. whatever, they are really looking for an active account so that they, or someone else (they sell your info to) can spam you. Don't react, reply or answer any eMail from those you don't know, just DELETE, period.

If it comes into your SPAM, forget it! If it does come into your INBOX, especially with some 'title' attached to a 'fake' name, (Military rank, esquire, an upper bank position, or any other 'job' that normally commands respect, that's what the scammer is planning you'll believe, no matter whether they are really a man or woman behind the BS! If they give a phone number to call, look at & check out the origin of the country's international phone code, probably from Nigeria, (234) or maybe the UK, (44), But DON'T CALL!

>>> Be VERY sceptical of any site that offers to make you rich, wealthy or a LOT better off than you are now and don't think you can profit from your invention(s) with 'help' from some "Inventor's Help" site because they actually want to help you drain your bank account(s). I know, I have a great invention, so I've tried it and got taken for nearly $600.00 before I realized it was a scam!

Great subject! I have been job hunting as of late and almost got scammed, thank goodness I researched the guys name and his information. I just wanted to add it here to possibly assist others. This is part of the reply that the SCAM ARTIST said:

I'm Robert F. Lagville, 43 yrs of age,I'm a lawyer by profession, I have been pretty successful in a handful of ventures I get involved in; from the International business/corporate immigration ,International investment immigration and family immigration to United State also various welfare and community service programs. i most very often get my hands occupied, so it is imperative for me to have a worthy assistant who can monitor and keep me up to date with my activities.

As my assistant, your activities will be.

*Running personal errands, supervisions and monitoring.

*Scheduling programs, flights and keeping me up to date with them.

*Acting as an alternative telephone correspondence when I'm away.

*Making regular contacts and drop-offs on my behalf.

*Handling and monitoring some of my financial activities.

What a crappy person that would take advantage of someone trying to get a legit job! Thanks for your post.
